DARK PRISM × END STATE // CQB Filming Collaboration

LON // CQB / COL-01

This project was a collaboration between Dark Prism and End State filmed at our former interior training environment in Central London.

End State, who produce visual content for the defence and security sector, used the project to capture a continuous one-shot sequence moving through the training environment while tracking a team conducting clearance drills.

We provided the venue and operators to execute the sequence, allowing the team to film dynamic movement in a realistic CQB setting.

The video features three members of our Collective — all former Special Boat Service operators — demonstrating Close-Quarters Battle (CQB) movement and room-clearing techniques inside our purpose-built skills house.

The sequence focuses on the fundamentals of small-team movement, communication, and the disciplined processes that underpin effective room clearing.

While the filming approach centred on achieving a seamless “oner”, the movement itself remained grounded in genuine CQB methodology.

Rather than staged choreography, the emphasis was on real movement, communication, and the core principles that experienced operators apply when clearing interior spaces.

Projects like this bring together operators and filmmakers to document the skillset and mindset developed inside elite units while producing cinematic footage rooted in real-world training practice.
